4th Shipping Update + additional information

Hello everyone,
It’s taken some time to overcome obstacles and put in place the following arrangements. Getting your orders fulfilled remains our priority. We’re thankful for your patience and support so far. Without further ado, here are the updates:
AU/NZ and Taiwan
All orders have been sent out by our fulfilment partner. We have since uploaded tracking numbers on Backerkit. Email us at [email protected] if you have not received a tracking number for your order.
US/Canada/Mexico
Our shipment is being cleared at US customs. Once done, this will be sent to our fulfilment partner and processed for individual backers. We will share an update once orders are ready to be dispatched.
Rest of the World
The service that our fulfilment partner was using halted shipments to many countries in January, including the UK. The understanding at that time was that this was only a precautionary measure and that shipping channels would reopen promptly. However, this has not happened. Other channels of fulfilment have been suggested but those are not viable as they range from 2 to 5 times the original fulfilment cost.
We've decided to re-route a number of orders through Singapore at some cost as several shipping channels have opened up. This will take 3-4 weeks to arrive. We hope that these channels will remain open when the shipment arrives in Singapore.
The list of countries that Singapore channels have access to are:
- Austria
- Belgium
- Denmark
- Greece
- India
- Ireland
- Italy
- Portugal
- Russia
- Saudi Arabia
- Spain
- Sweden
- United Arab Emirates
- United Kingdom
Backers from the above countries can expect to receive their orders once they have been processed and re-routed. For countries not listed, we will be looking for other alternative methods and will post an update once we have the information.
Before it arrives, should shipping channels reopen in Taiwan, orders will be dispatched from Taiwan. If channels remain closed in Taiwan, orders will be dispatched from Singapore.
Please note that we can only dispatch orders that have access to open shipping channels. We are currently unable to dispatch orders to countries that our fulfilment partners or services have halted deliveries to. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you when shipping channels open up to more countries.
While this might come as a disappointment, we hope that the above-mentioned arrangements we have implemented will address some uncertainties and limit any further delays.

Dear Backers,
Thank you for your patience. We hear and understand your frustration. Some of you have already received your orders, many of you have not. Since our last update in January, we’ve experienced difficulties in obtaining meaningful and timely information from our fulfilment partners, who are themselves coping with unforeseen delays or obstacles in fulfilment.
Covid has made a real impact on international shipping and the movement of goods, as well as the cost of fulfilment. Nevertheless, we received some news and clarifications:
US
We experience some delays and complications to the receiving and handling of our shipment to the US. This is being resolved. We will share an update related specifically to this the moment we receive relevant information.
AU/NZ
Our shipment reached Australia last week and is currently clearing customs. Our fulfilment partner is standing ready to receive and process all ANZAC orders - barring any further delays, they expect to send out all parcels by next week. We will upload tracking numbers as soon as this becomes available to us.
Rest of the World
A number of you would have received a Backerkit email with tracking numbers a few hours ago. Our fulfilment partner managed to send out a batch of deliveries to Germany, Netherlands, Poland, France, Norway, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Hong Kong and China. Unfortunately, countries not listed here are currently not accepting incoming international parcels due to Covid-related restrictions. Our fulfilment partner will continue to check if the situation changes and explore alternative methods of fulfilment.
We truly appreciate your support and understanding. Rest assured that we will share timely and meaningful updates with you when it becomes available to us.

Greetings again, shrubbery supporters!
Thanks once again to all of you who have been waiting patiently to arrive at Plantopia. We'd like to give you another update about when your games will reach you.
Bonanza backers (all countries):
Your packages are on the way, and you should have your tracking numbers in your BackerKit. If not, please contact us to let us know.
Singapore backers:
Your games should have reached last year or early January, so if you haven't received your games yet please email us to let us know.
Thailand and Taiwan backers:
Your games should have all been shipped out, if you do not receive your games by the end of January please let us know.
Malaysia and Indonesia backers:
Your games have arrived in our partners' warehouses, and they are currently in the midst of shipping the games to you. This may take longer where there are severe lockdowns. When we receive your tracking numbers, we will upload them into your BackerKit.
Australia/NZ backers:
Your games are on the way to our fulfilment partner and should arrive in the next week. Shipping will commence shortly after that. When we receive your tracking numbers, we will upload them into your BackerKit.
US/Canada/Mexico backers:
Your games are on the way to our fulfilment partner and should arrive in February. When the shipment arrives, we will send another update. When we receive your tracking numbers, we will upload them into your BackerKit. We apologize for the logistical delay as this should have been completed sooner.
UK + EU backers:
Your games have started shipping directly to you from the factory in Taiwan. When we receive your tracking numbers (which should be in 1-2 weeks), we will upload them into your BackerKit.
Rest of the world backers:
Your games have started shipping directly to you from the factory in Taiwan. When we receive your tracking numbers (which should be in 1-2 weeks), we will upload them into your BackerKit.
For those of you who have already received your copies of Plantopia and have already started playing, please don't forget to tag us on social media at @origame.co and @daylightpotato!
As mentioned in our last update, it's been crazy over here and we're happy to report that all of the packages from Singapore have been processed and sent out and we can now start to ramp up our customer support (and get back to our regular job, which is to make games!). Also, please welcome our new colleague Nidia who will be helping to respond to all of your issues, including: missing or damaged components, misplaced packages etc. Please direct all of your queries to [email protected].
We appreciate all of your patience and understanding and know that it's a painful wait especially when you see other backers receiving their games and you aren't able to receive yours yet. Shipping and logistic delays have resulted in lag times for different regions and countries. But we promise that the game is worth the wait - just ask all of the backers who have received theirs! We've learnt a lot along the way and now know how to streamline the process for future projects.
Thank you once again for all of your tremendous support and we sincerely hope that 2021 will be much more fun for all of you!

Nice to see all of you greenery growers again!
The factory successfully completed the print run last week and we've already commenced the shipping process (we started a boat shipment from Taiwan to Singapore last Friday 27th November). So beginning from next week onwards, slowly but surely, all of you will be getting your games, hopefully in the month of December. All you have to do now to complete the journey is to stand by your mailbox. If you still haven't given us your address, please email us directly as we have already compiled all of the addresses. There shouldn't be many of you left (less than 5%, thanks so much for helping us out!).
Mail schedules are usually delayed in December, so we hope that wherever you are, you will be able to get your games in 2020. But even if you don't, that's one more thing to look forward to in the new year. Don't worry, all your games are on their way, even if it takes a scenic route!
Since we're located in Singapore, backers in Singapore should start getting their games around the 15th of December, as we plan to start shipping out games locally next week. We've already received a copy from the factory and have been playing it non-stop. One word - SHINY!
The following videos were sent to us by the factory and hopefully will tide you over until your game comes in the mail. The awe-inspiring hologram boxes are only for all of you sleek and funky Kickstarter backers, so you will always have a reminder of our journey together to Plantopia! *shiny*
The quality of the production is excellent and we can't wait for all of you to receive your own copy. We hope that you will also agree, once you start getting it to your tables, that the game is super fun and constantly provides players with new experiences to explore. But we'll let you decide that for yourselves when it comes in your mailbox!
In the meantime, if you can't wait, Arachnoir is being released today as a Print & Play (those who backed will receive a notification to download it either today or tomorrow). It's an excellent spidery spatial game that will keep you on the edge of your seat every time. It's only $5 SGD (just over $3 USD) so it's an unbeatable price for a game you can't play just once. And it's a game you and your friends can play over Zoom while we patiently wait for the pandemic to abate!
